This 2021 Collings I-35 LC Vintage is truly in mint condition. No belt buckle rash, no fret wear, no dings. It has of course the finish checking from the factory and who knows, possibly a little bit of natural checking since then too! The back of the neck is perfectly smooth. This one features a factory-installed Bigsby as well!

Our photographer is a Collings-endorsed artist, yet he still seriously considered picking this one up to save himself the wait time of a new build. It’s quite a phenomenal piece. With its set of custom spec Throbak pickups, the neck position is warm but clear. Likewise, the bridge position is remarkably transparent while producing loads of rich harmonics.

How Does It Play?

The string action measures just 4/64” on the low E string at the 12^th fret, and 3/64” on the high E. That’s as low as we set up ANY guitar! And there is no fretbuzz to be heard. The fret ends are nicely rounded. There is no fret sprout; just immaculate fretwork that is as perfect as the day it left the factory.
