Here we have a used 2021 Ron Tracy T92 with a really fantastic spec set and wonderful playability. The T92 model designation refers to the 92% body size compared to a standard T-style, and the guitar sports a 24.75” scale neck to match. The pickup set is a Revel Wee Range in the neck and Revel Black Watch Humdinger in the bridge. The Wee Range is a standard humbucker-sized, lower output take on a Wide Range while the Black Watch is a throaty Broadcaster-spec’d pickup that pairs very nicely with the neck.

The build is a semi-hollow with no f-holes. You get a warm and airy flavor all at the same time. It has a mellower top end than a standard Tele, but a beautifully-clear midrange that still allows you to twang on the bridge pickup when you want to. The guitar has some natural finish checking, primarily on the back and sides. Otherwise, it is in mint condition with no dings or dents.

How Does It Play?

The string action measures barely a hair over 4/64” on the low E string at the 12^th fret, and just under on the high E. There is no fretbuzz. The guitar has an excellent Walnut neck and perfect fretwork. Stainless steel frets and of course, zero wear.
