As one of the most versatile guitars in the PRS lineup, the 509 harnesses the power of 5 pickups to deliver 9 uniquely musical tones. The 509 starts with a 5 single coil platform - with the outside four coils grouped as humbuckers. An innovative switching system (a 5-way blade switch and two mini toggle coil-tap switches), gives players an array of humbucking, singlecoil, and blended tones. Unique appointments include a longer 25.25" scale length which adds upper harmonic sparkle and the PRS Patented Tremolo, Gen III which provides impressive sustain.

We are exceptionally picky about finding anything that could be considered an imperfection on every guitar we sell. This guitar (serial 0346697) is truly in mint condition. It has a few light polish marks if you look really close. But no pick scratches, nicks or buckle rash. The frets show no wear. All electronics and hardware are clean and functioning 100%.

How Does It Play?

This string action on this beauty measures just 4/64” on the low E string at the 12^th fret, and even lower on the high E. There is no fretbuzz.
