What's the deal with refurbished?

This instrument is stamped "used" on the back of the headstock and given a new serial number by the manufacturer-authorized refurbisher. Why? It was deemed to have a cosmetic imperfection or to need a repair. Check the description to see exactly why this instrument is considered refurbished. We scrutinize every instrument and pass along all information from the refurbisher so that you know exactly what you are getting. These are like new with little or zero play wear!

The GK Studio is the ultimate gigging instrument. Built with a solid European Spruce top and Cypress back and sides, this nylon string guitar comes equipped with a soft cutaway and Fishman Presys Blend pickup. The GK Studio is a flamenco guitar made for the stage, constructed with a slightly thinner body depth, neck, and nut width than a traditional Spanish guitar. The neck is designed to have little or no relief, offering low action for ease of comfort and quick playability.

This particular instrument shows signs of play wear, mainly some dents on the front and back of the body. We have included some close-up photos so you can take a look. The guitar is structurally sound and all hardware and electronics function 100%.

How Does It Play?

We have given the guitar a full setup. It has an excellent neck and plays great up and down the fretboard. With Fishman electronics built-in, it is an extremely versatile performance instrument with an excellent blend of character and modern appointments.

A new hard case can be added to US orders for $95 or to international orders for $115.
