This 2017 Ernie Ball BFR Luke III is in showroom condition. Serial # G86025, #29 of 36 for the Claro Walnut limited run. There is no fretwear to note, and only the faintest of pick scratches on the top. No belt buckle rash. There is one spot on the rear edge of the body where the finish base coat settled into the grain or turned cloudy, but this is perfectly smooth to the touch. We have included a close-up photo. Otherwise, the instrument is in mint condition.
The certificate of authenticity signed by Scott Ball is included, as is the original hard case. The case is in mint condition as well!
How Does It Play?
Wonderfully. The guitar is currently set up with 9-42 gauge strings. The string action is just a hair over 4/64” on the low E at the 12th fret and nearly down to 3/64” on the high E, without fret buzz. The soft V neck is moderately deep and beautifully supportive. Our tech gives this one high marks all around.
