The voice is strong and punchy and cuts well through the densest mix.

Finished in a natural gloss, this instrument can be indentified by Glen Frey's initials inside a circle on top of the peg head. Includes Takamine's CTB4 II preamp system paired with the unique Palathetic™ under-saddle pickup for peerless amplified response. The highly acclaimed CT4B II preamp system with three-band EQ, volume control and built-in tuner.

What Do We Think?

This is a marvelously-balanced guitar. It has less scoop or smiley-face EQ compared to many other dreadnought guitars. The low end is perfectly controlled and punchy, but the real magic lies in the midrange. The lower mids are rich and full, while the upper mids transition cleanly and sweetly into a smooth top end. The guitar has a wonderful sense of presence while maintaining full body underneath.

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to nut slots, fretwork to saddle height, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!
