With Takamine's distinctive NEX body style, the P6N is a singer's delight, combining the power of a dreadnought with balanced tone that perfectly complements the vocal range. It features a resonant solid spruce top with scalloped "X" top bracing for superior balance and articulation, a solid flame maple back and flame maple sides, and elegant ivory body binding with black and white purfling and mother-of-pearl rosette. 

Built with the performer in mind, the P6N features Takamine's proprietary CTP-3 Cool Tube™ preamp system paired with the unique Palathetic™ under-saddle pickup for peerless amplified response. The dual-channel CTP-3 provides low-voltage tube tone—variable from bright and brilliant to thick and warm—featuring three-band EQ with semi-parametric midrange, auxiliary input and volume (for use when a second pickup is added), and an onboard chromatic tuner.

How Does It Play?

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to nut slots, fretwork to saddle height, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!
