What Do We Think?

The TSP178AC is an arched maple top, arched maple back Thinline acoustic guitar with a finely-balanced tonal output and excellent onboard electronics. The body construction gives a nod to traditional archtop guitars, and we hear a bit of the beautiful midrange character of that classic design in the TSP178AC as well. The neck is a classic medium C profile that fills out the hand comfortably and encourages playing across the entire ebony fretboard. The electronics feature an onboard tuner, 3-band EQ and notch filter to ensure this guitar is stage-friendly in every venue.

How Does It Play?

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to nut slots, fretwork to saddle height, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!

This guitar comes with the Takamine SH100T semi-hard case. This case is lightweight yet offers maximum protection and absorption for drops and bumps. It also features a pair of backpack straps for optional hands-free carrying.
