This 2023 McCary 594 Hollowbody II is in very good condition, serial 0361238. It has a check in the nitro finish between the knobs and the bridge. We have included close-up photos from two different angles. In normal lighting conditions you’d be likely to miss it. I did when we checked it in. But we want to make sure you can take a good look so we caught it under the direct glare of the light.

The only other notable blemish is a small ding on the edge of the body, and we have included a close-up of this as well. There are a few extremely faint signs on handling on the body but no belt buckle rash. The neck is in flawless condition and there is no play wear on the frets. All pots and electronics function 100%. The 10 Top and back are both exquisite. The 58/15 LT pickups are clear and sweet.

How Does It Play?

The neck plays straight and true. The string action reads just 4/64” on the low E string at the 12^th fret and even lower on the high E string. We have is strung with a set of D’Addario XL 10-46.
