LTD Deluxe guitars are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians require in an instrument, while remaining affordable enough for serious players. The TE-1000 Black Blast offers a bolt-on construction Swamp Ash body with an outstanding textured black sandblasted finish that looks amazing contrasted against its roasted maple neck, with 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and offset abalone dot inlays.

This guitar also includes a scalloped fingerboard from frets 17-22 for excellent lead performance expression possibilities. Pickups on this guitar are the Seymour Duncan Sentient (neck) and Pegasus (bridge) set, both splittable with push-pull control, offering the perfect blend of articulation and aggression. The TE-1000 Black Blast also features LTD Locking tuners and a Hipshot hardtail bridge with string-thru-body design.

How Do We Think?

The TE-1000 Swamp Ash has a thunderous low end, punchy midrange and articulate upper register. Truly, it’s a masterful sum of its parts. The lightweight swamp ash body emphasizes big, warm low end and clear, singing trebles. The roasted maple neck contributes punch and focus in between, aided by the tonal precision of stainless steel frets.

The Seymour Duncan Sentient (neck) and Pegasus (bridge) pickups feature Alnico V magnets for big, powerful tone while maintaining wonderful string-to-string clarity. They exhibit a lot of dynamic range and coil split very nicely to deliver sweet, shimmering tones. The Thin U neck profile caters to the modern player with a fast satin finish that refuses to get sticky while you play.

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to nut slots, pickup heights to saddle heights, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!
