With the Viper-1000 Baritone, you get the diabolical look of the asymmetrical double-cutaway body shape in a 27” baritone scale guitar, typically tuned a fourth below standard (B-E-A-D-F#-B) for extended low end range for modern rock and metal. It uses set-thru construction for easy access to the highest frets, with a mahogany body and three-piece mahogany neck. 

Its Macassar ebony fingerboard includes 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and white pearloid ESP flag inlays, and white binding on the neck and headstock. Components on the Viper-1000 Baritone include a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, LTD locking tuners, and a set of EMG 60TW-R (neck, splittable with push-pull control) and EMG 81 (bridge) pickups, offering a good variety of powerful, aggressive tones.

How Does It Play?

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to nut slots, pickup heights to saddle heights, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!
