What's the deal with refurbished? 

This instrument was either an overstock or was deemed by the factory to have an imperfection. Check the description to see exactly why this instrument is considered refurbished. We scrutinize every instrument we sell and pass along all information from the refurbisher so that you know exactly what you are getting. The instrument is not stamped used or 2ND and the original serial number is present and not tampered with. These are like new with little or zero play wear!

The 22 Series applies the most popular guitar tonewood combination of spruce and Indian rosewood to the ukulele. Other guitar-inspired features include a rosewood bridge, fingerboard, and headstock veneer, and a mahogany neck. The aesthetic is subtle and refined, with a sleek high gloss finish, and timeless hand-inlaid wooden rope rosette and matching purfling.

This particular ukulele had a small finish crack between the fretboard tongue and soundhole, and a couple of tiny finish cracks at the corners of the preamp cavity. These were in the finish only, not in the wood, and been professionally repaired by a Cordoba-authorized refurbisher to ensure there is not issue in the future. There is a scuff on the inside edge of the soundhole, a small finish imperfection on the side of the neck heel and some cloudiness in the clearcoat on the back of the body. We have included a close-up photo of each imperfection. Aside from what we have described, this instrument is in mint condition.

We have given this tenor ukulele a pro setup to make sure it is playing nicely. We have tested all electronics and hardware to make sure it is ready for you! The built-in pickup makes it super easy to amplify the ukulele through a PA or amp when you want to take it on stage.
