Many great things happened in 1983. I (Cam) was born, and so was this 1983 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Candy Apple Red. It has been naturally aged over the years (like me) but is still kicking and ready to rock n roll! There are some assorted dings, lacquer checks, and wear. All have been photographed so you can take a look!

That said, this thing has the mojo and looks stunning. No repairs, and sports the original pots and Tim Shaw pickups. Definitely one to consider for your guitar arsenal!

How Does It Play?

The frets are original, low and wide, with some general wear. The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action measures just under 4/64” on the low E string at the 12^th fret and right at 3/64” on the high E.
