Like what you see? All photos are of the exact item you will receive. There are dings and scratches throughout the guitar, as well as a crack in the finish below the tremolo. There is also general finish discoloration from age to the clear coat. We’ve included photos so you can take a look!
Just arrived via trade in! Tom Anderson is well known as the godfather of the boutique guitar. This Classic is a great example of a semi-vintage Anderson with the original 4 bolt neck joint!
This Tom Anderson Classic features an alder body, maple neck, rosewood board, and a Shoreline Gold metallic finish. There is some discoloration to the finish, and according to Markus from Anderson, this is likely yellowing of the clearcoat from age in spots. Pickups are a set of Fralin’s that do the Strat thing very nicely with tons of character and depth. Don’t miss the chance to grab a Tom Anderson at an excellent price!
How Does It Play?
The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action sits at just over 4/64” on the low E string, and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12th fret. We have the tremolo decked to the body.
