This is a killer 2012 Suhr Classic S in an HSS pickup configuration. Suhr guitars are rock solid players built to exacting specifications, and this is a great example of just that! This one features an alder body, roasted maple neck, rosewood board, ‘Even C Neck Medium’ neck profile, a 9”-12” compound radius and medium stainless steel frets.
The guitar is loaded with the original Suhr Mike Landau pickups in the neck and middle, and has been souped up with a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge. See the included spec sheet for all of the other particulars! It’s in very good condition with some minor dings in the finish. We have included close-up photos so you can take a look! We are Suhr fans and this one is sure to be an awesome player for you!
How Does It Play?
The stainless steel frets are in excellent condition. The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action measures just over 4/64” on the low E string at the 12th fret and right at 4/64” on the high E. There is no fret buzz.
