Just arrived via trade in! This 2015 Fano ML6 is not something you see every day. This guitar was made during Fano’s Premier Builder’s Guild years in CA (previous ownership), and it looks, sounds, and feels like a vintage instrument! If you are fan of an SG, but want something a bit more balanced and robust, this ML6 might do the trick!
Specs include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, and ‘50s Roundback neck profile. This beauty also features a set of Lollar Imperial humbuckers. These are some of our favorite pickups and are very balanced, clear, and soulful. Topping things off is a Bigsby tailpiece and nylon saddle inserts.
How Does It Play?
The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action sits at just over 4/64” on the low E string and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12th fret. The ‘50s Roundback neck profile is very supportive and feels great in the hand. It’s a meaty neck carve that works with this guitar well!
