Shabat guitars seem to be the talk of the town right now, and rightly so. We received this 2017 Lion GB in Salmon Pink via trade in. The Lion GB is the signature model of Gonzalo Bergara. He was wanting a super light and responsive blues machine, and does this Lion ever deliver! It’s in excellent shape with factory distressing. There is one ding on the fretboard edge around the 14^th fret. We’ve included a picture so you can take a look! This is an excellent choice for someone wanting a killer Shabat at a great price!

Features include a sugar pine body, roasted maple neck, 25.5” scale length, Dunlop 6105 frets, Gotoh “In-Tune” bridge with brass saddles, an aged Salmon nitro finish, a Lollar Charlie Christian in the neck, and a TV Jones Starwood Tele pickup in the bridge. This guitar was built to display at the 2018 NAMM show.

How Does It Play?

The frets are in excellent condition. The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action measures just over 4/64” on the low E string at the 12^th fret and right at 4/64” on the high E string at the 12^th fret.
