In via trade! This 2019 Gretsch G6229 Players Edition Jet just hit the showroom floor. This is a stunning guitar, finished in a classic silver sparkle paint job with some very cool upgrades.

The original V tailpiece has been replaced with a Bigsby B3 and Towner Down Tension Bar. The original V tailpiece is also included. No holes were drilled in the installation of the Bigsby, so you have the option of returning the guitar to its stock hardtail configuration if you so desire. The pickup rings and pickguard have also been replaced. The originals are included!

How Does It Play?

The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action sits at just a hair over 4/64” on the low E string, and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at 12^th fret.
