Like what you see? All photos are of the exact instrument you will receive. There is minor finish checking around both sides of the neck joint, as well as a split in the pickguard plastic. We’ve included photos so you can take a look!
In via trade! This is one of the very few Fender Custom Shop hardtail Strats I’ve come across. It’s also a ‘50s style with a nice thick neck and single-ply guard. Finished in a white blonde with a nitro ‘flash-coat’, it sure is an elegant look. This beauty features a 7.25”- 9.5” compound radius, maple fretboard, and medium vintage 47095 fretwire.
Other features include a lightweight ash body, 1954 U neck shape, hardtail bridge, and hand-wound ‘55 Strat pickups. The neck profile measures .900” at the first fret and .970” at the 12th fret. Also comes with the original case, spec sheet, and certificate.
How Does It Play?
The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action sits at just above 4/64” on the low E string, and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12th fret.
