Brand New w/ Warranty. We are an authorized Chapman Dealer.
We are excited to welcome Chapman Guitars to Guitars To Be Played! Since its small initial run of the ML-1 in 2010, Chapman has been a force in the guitar market. Known for pushing the limits and incorporating high-end options and upgrades on guitars competitively priceed, Chapman has retooled and revamped their offerings for 2026 and beyond!
From Chapman: We've always been driven by one simple idea... Our guitars are designed around the player. In 2026 we have a renewed focus on the needs of today's working musicians. From the big changes to the small tweaks, every design choice in our new lineup is shaped by feedback from guitarists who put their instruments to test night after night.
Built for performance, shaped by experience, and crafted for musicians everywhere.
Introducing the Chapman Scout Traditional
Designed with the same focus that shaped the very first Chapman Guitar, built around versatility, feel, and a clear sense of identity.
The roasted maple neck with its rosewood board is built to feel natural as soon as you pick it up, almost like something you’ve known for years, with that familiar, no-nonsense feel guitarists recognize straight away. The HSS setup, with a push-pull coil split gives you plenty of room for shaping tones or building riffs.
ROASTED MAPLE AND ROSEWOOD NECK
The classic combination of roasted maple back and rosewood fretboard that players know and love. With a 25.5” scale length and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets, this guitar is designed for precision and versatility, and with matching headstock, looks good while doing it.
PREMIUM CONSTRUCTION
Crafted from Mahogany with a Flame Maple veneer, the Scout Traditional is a visual and auditory delight. The gloss finish accentuates the wood’s natural beauty. The Wilkinson WVS130-2P tremolo with locking saddles gives the ultimate in tuning stability and reliability.
CHAPMAN PICKUPS
Made in partnership with Wilkinson, a Chapman Redline Special bridge humbucker and Chapman Straight-Six single coil pickups in the middle and neck, this guitar delivers a versatile tonal palette.
How Does It Play?
