What Does Cam Think?

We just picked up this beautiful Miris H2 Semi-Hollow in gold from our dear friends at Novo. It’s a super lively and airy guitar thanks to a semi-hollow swamp ash body, but the hardtail bridge adds some girth and thump. The Fralin Pure PAF’s are meaty yet articulate like great humbuckers. It plays beautifully, and sure looks good too!

How Does It Play?

The Chunky C profile is fat, but still quite comfortable. With the finish sanded off the back of the neck, it feels like a guitar you have played hundreds of gigs on. The jumbo frets give strings that slinky ease of playability. The action sits at a hair over 4/64” on the low E string, and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12th fret.
