Continuing the tradition that started way back in 1947, Danelectro makes some of the hippest guitars around! These no-frills tone machines have graced the airwaves with their retro sonics and 50’s good looks for the better part of a century. Don’t let the affordable price tag fool you! The Danelectro 66BT is the ‘Crème de le Crème’ of the Dano Baritone line. To quote Danelectro, “it’s the coolest instrument on the planet”. And while we can’t confirm or deny this statement, it certainly is ‘one of’ the coolest. It shares the same scale length, neck size, and radius with the other Dano baritones, but the 66BT has some unique features all its own, most notably a Wilkinson tremolo and unique electronics. Speaking of electronics, the 66BT is sporting a vintage style large housing single coil neck pickup, and a dual humbucking Lipstick® bridge pickup. The bridge pickup can be split via a master tone push/ pull pot, giving you serious versatility. So, if the standard baritone fare isn’t doing it for you, the 66BT should be at the top of your list!

How Does It Play?

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to nut slots, pickup heights to saddle heights, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!
