ESP E-II instruments, formerly known as “ESP Standard Series,” are made in Japan at the ESP factory by highly skilled builders. The E-II Eclipse offers the single-cutaway ESP Eclipse shape in a guitar designed for professional touring and recording. Built with set-thru construction at 24.75” scale for fast and smooth access to the highest frets, this guitar features a mahogany body with maple cap, a thin U-shaped mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.

Components on this E-II Eclipse include black hardware, Gotoh TOM-style bridge and tailpiece, ESP strap locks, a bone nut, Gotoh locking tuners, and a set of versatile, powerful EMG 57TW (bridge) and EMG 66TW (neck) pickups with brushed black chrome covers. These innovative active pickups can be set to single coil mode via push-pull controls. Includes ESP form-fit case.

How Does It Play?

We give a thorough setup to every instrument that comes through our shop. From truss rod to nut slots, pickup heights to intonation, you can rest assured we have this one dialed in. We also do a thorough inspection and check of all electronics and hardware to make sure nothing slips by!
