Each Fano Oltre series guitar is handbuilt in the USA using an old-growth North American Alder body, maple neck and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The result is a resonant, lively instrument crafted with care and precision. This series allows for a number of customizations, from color to pickguard, knobs to pickups. Models can be built with either a maple or rosewood fretboard to meet the needs of a variety of players. How Does It Play?

The neck profile is a moderate “early 60’s” C that leaves enough on the shoulder to support the hand and prevent fatigue, while affording a thin enough profile for blazing fretwork. Generous body contours and a heel contour make this guitar especially easy to navigate. The string action hovers right around 4/64” at the 12^th fret, nice and low without any fret buzz.
