What Do We Think?

This Cadillac Green masterpiece is a slice of American history that never was, blending classic collector favorites into a single instrument. TV Jones provides the ideal powertrain to harness the muscle of the bound mahogany body and set neck. The Power’Tron (neck) and Power’Tron Plus (bridge) can rumble, yet also capture an exquisite purr in the top end. The Bigsby B5 is perfect for the laid-back Sunday drive, but doesn’t stop this bad boy from putting the pedal to the metal. A power shift to the bridge position and a timely right-hander on the gain knob of your amp will kick you into soaring overdrive.

How Does It Play?

The neck on this one feels vintage Gibson all the way. It is a late 50’s round C profile in the realm of Gibson’s most recent iteration of a ’59 roundback. The guitar sets up with enviously-fast string action of 4/64” on the low E at the 12^th fret and 3/64” on the high E, without any buzz. This is definitely a ride that will leave the rest of the lot a little jealous.
