A legend in the world of boutique amplification, Dave Friedman has made a career designing and building some of the best amplifiers in the world. Not willing to rest on his laurels, Dave has tossed his hat in the boutique guitar ring, bringing his signature California style and sensibility.

Friedman's take on T and S style instruments is both classic and modern, pushing boundaries with incredible finishes and top-notch sonics. These guitars are handmade with excellent attention to detail. The finish work is one of Friedman’s strengths, giving us some of the best relic work out there. The pickups are Friedman’s own, providing outstanding tone. Rounding things out with beautiful fretwork and playability, there is a lot to love about Friedman guitars!

How Does It Play?

The Medium C neck profile paired with a satin finish is so comfortable, and the Jescar 55090 frets are the perfect combination of height and width. They are tall enough for easy bending and fast playability yet narrow enough for accurate intonation. The string action sits at 4/64” across all strings, measured at the 12^th fret. It’s one of my favorite necks in the store!
