What's the deal with refurbished?

This instrument was either an overstock or was deemed by the factory to have an imperfection. Check the description to see exactly why this instrument is considered refurbished. We scrutinize every instrument we sell and pass along all information from the refurbisher so that you know exactly what you are getting. The guitar is stamped “used” on the back of the headstock but the original serial number is present and not tampered with. These are like new with little or zero play wear!

This particular guitar has a small imperfection in the fretboard between the 12th and 13th frets, and a few small cloudy spots in the finish on the side of the body where the binding and body meet. We have included close-up photos of the imperfections! Aside from these, the guitar is in flawless condition.

Our 2 cents… This model is a fantastic travel guitar, but is equally suited to smaller-framed players. The sound is impressively robust for a small guitar, even without plugging it in. The torrefied Spruce top has the resonance typically associated with a much more aged piece of wood, and the African Mahogany back/sides balance it out very nicely. Top, back and sides are all solid! No laminates in the construction of this guitar. And when you do need that little bit more, the built-in electronics ensure you have the tools for the job.

How Does It Play?

We have given this fine instrument a thorough pro setup to make sure it is playing its best and 100% ready for you. The string action measures under 3/32” at the 12^th fret across all strings and plays super easy with the guitar’s short and slinky 23.5” scale length.
