In via trade! This 2009 Fender American Nashville B-Bender Telecaster is the cat’s meow! We’ve had a few B-Bender Tele’s come through during my tenure here, but this is the only one I’ve seen with the official Fender Gene Parsons/Meridian Greene-designed B-Bender system. It’s a beautifully engineered system that’s easy to use and works just as advertised.
While the bender is the star of the show, it can’t upstage the amazing tones this thing can conjure up. Pickups include 2 American Standard Tele singles in the neck and bridge, as well as a sweet Texas Special Strat pickup in the middle for access to those juicy SRV tones. And with a Modern C neck with medium-jumbo frets and rolled edges, you’ll be twangin’ to your heart’s content in comfort. If you are local, come and give it a whirl, or get in touch with any questions you may have!
How Does It Play?
The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action sits at just a hair over 4/64” on the low E string, and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at 12th fret.
