The Alt de Facto series is Fano’s top-of-the-line custom series. These are handbuilt in the USA by one luthier from start to finish so that every instrument tells a unique and cohesive story. How Does It Play?

Fano’s “early ‘60s C” neck profile is a favorite of ours. It provides ample shoulder to support the hand, but does so with a moderately-slim depth of around .83” at the first fret. The neck sets up very nicely and plays beautifully all the way up and down. The string action at the 12^th fret measures just 4/64” across all strings, without any buzz.
