The FiveOThree is Veritas’s take on the classic hollow-body electric, blending the warmth and resonance of a vintage archtop with the punch and clarity of a modern semi-hollow. Inspired by some of the most iconic hollow-body designs in history, the FiveOThree delivers a voice that is rich, open, and alive, making it just as comfortable playing smooth jazz chords as it is belting out roaring rock riffs.

How Does It Play?

The neck sports a Medium C carve, perfectly finished in a smooth satin. It has rounded shoulders making for an ultra-comfortable profile. The frets are filed and polished with no sharp ends or edges. Action-wise, the low E string sits just above 4/64” with the high E string right at 4/64”, both measured at the 12th fret. The rosewood board is quite thick, with the truss rod adjustment wheel peeking through just below the 22nd fret. I love the wheel truss rod adjustment, as it’s easily accessible.
