Just arrived via trade in! Yes, we are a Knaggs dealer, but this used Kenai is one of the coolest to have come through! It’s an amazing 2022 Knaggs Kenai, traded in by our very own ‘Socal Media/ Advertising Guru’ Aidan. Like many of us at Guitars To Be Played, he fell in love with something unexpectedly in the store. And being the responsible adult that he is, he had to sacrifice this beauty for the greater good of his finances.

Maybe I’m just a sucker for white finishes on guitars, but this thing is sharp! It sounds and plays like a great Les Paul, but it’s under 8lbs and more comfortable. While sitting, it balances on your leg as well as a Strat. Tonewise, the Bareknuckle pickups are a great match for the mahogany body and maple top. They are nice and articulate, maintaining clarity even with high amounts of gain. The block inlays and ebony board are a nice touch. If I hadn’t just bought an LP, I would have probably taken this one home for myself!

How Does It Play?

The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action sits right at 4/64” on the low E string, and just under 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12th fret. The neck profile is a nice supportive C with comfortable shoulders.
