Formerly known as the Stratospheric, the Alfa model is Paoletti's S-Style guitar featuring 130-150 year old reclaimed chestnut body and superb custom hardware appointments. It is available in SSS, HSS and HH configurations and in both the solid body "Loft" and thinline "Lounge" variations.

How Does It Play?

The Alfa Loft model in Deep Blue will always be the guitar I associate most with Paoletti. And in the case of this Alfa Loft, it plays as good as it looks!  Paoletti’s Medium C carve takes a good bit of the credit with such a comfortable neck profile. It’s full all the way up the neck, but with nicely rounded shoulders to keep your hand from feeling too full. The 6110 fretwire is always a nice touch. The fret maintains a wide profile, but without being too tall to cause accidental intonation issues. The string action sits at just under 5/64” on the low E string and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12^th fret. This one also has the bridge pickup wired to the 2^nd tone pot for further sonic sculpting.
