Origin & Intent

Dragon begins with the late-’60s British amplifier language: commanding mids, explosive harmonic texture, fast attack, and the unmistakable sensation of an amp pushing back against the player in all the right ways.

But DRGN was never conceived as a period piece or a clone narrative. The goal was not to recreate an era. The goal was to pursue the authority, feel, and dimensional complexity required at the highest level of performance.

That pursuit led to a deeper collaboration between Joe Satriani and Dylana Nova Scott — refining not only the voice of the amplifier, but the way it responds under the hands, tracks dynamic changes, and holds together at stage volume.

This listing also includes the matching 3^rd Power 2x12” 8ohm cabinet featuring one ported chamber and one closed back chamber. The open chamber is loaded with a ToneSpeak Manchester 1290, while the closed back is loaded with a Celestion G12T-75. The combined power rating is 165W, plenty to handle any amp in the DRGN series.
