Just arrived via trade in! This 40^th Anniversary PRS SC56 was traded in by our very own tech Parker D! He is a great player with excellent taste in guitars. He ended up finding something he had to have, so this one ended up in the shop. It’s in great shape with one ding on the bottom rim and some very minor buckle rash on the back. He took excellent care of it and will be a beautiful addition to any collection!

Weight-Relief Design

Single-cutaway guitars are known to be heavier than their double-cutaway counterparts. This design incorporates weight-relief, decreasing the weight of the guitar by about 2/3 of a pound, while maintaining several points of attachment between the guitar top and back to eliminate the “hollow” sound of the cavities and promote tone transfer.

How Does It Play?

The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action sits at 4/64” across all strings, measured at the 12th fret.
