Just in via trade! If you are like me, you drooled over Carvin’s catalogs in the ‘90s and into the ‘00s. I would spec out my dream guitar on a regular basis. Well, this DC200 is a trip down memory lane. It’s incredible how well built these guitars are! This one features a maple neck, alder wings, ebony fretboard, abalone block inlays, active/ passive electronics, Sperzel locking tuners, and a Floyd Rose Trem. The guitar is finished in a glossy black and the neck features a tung oil finish. This has all the bells and whistles, except for the fancy woods featured in the DC400.
How Does It Play?
The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action sits at 4/64” on the low E string and just over 3/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12th fret.
