How Does It Play?

Mario is famous for his wide variety of neck shape options. This Sunburst S-Style features his C profile, which is very round in the shoulder, yet it flattens out slightly as you ascend the neck. One of my favorite aspects of Mario’s work is his neck finishing. This neck feels and looks vintage, like a neck you’ve played for years. The string action sits right at 4/64” on the low E string and a hair over 3/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12^th fret. The frets are beautifully dressed and polished from end to end.
