This Elite TX features Ovation’s Mid-Depth Bowl, which is ergonomically designed for comfort in any playing position. A deluxe AA solid-spruce top and Ovation’s legendary lightweight, yet high-strength bracing, give this guitar tremendous sonic power. An ultra-thin finish allows the soundboard to resonate freely, and soundports on the bass-string side of Ovation’s sculpted cutaway composite body enhance lower-frequency projection. Shaped to offer the fast feel of an electric guitar, the slim, hard-rock maple neck delivers superior sustain, while the OP-Pro preamp and OCP-1K pickup produce uncompromising plugged-in performance.

This guitar is in new, unplayed condition. We're pulling a couple oldies but goodies from the back of the warehouse where we've had them stashed for a number of years. The guitar has one small cosmetic flaw near the tip of the headstock which is covered completely smooth by the finish. We have included a close-up photo of this. Otherwise, the guitar is in flawless condition.

How Does It Play?

This guitar has a beautiful Hard Rock Maple neck with a smooth satin finish. The string action measures just 6/64" on the low E string and 5/65" on the high E at the 12th fret. There is no fret buzz anywhere on the neck.

A new Guardian Case Deluxe hardshell case can be added to US orders for $95 or to international orders for $125.
