Formerly known as the Stratospheric, the Alfa model is Paoletti's S-Style guitar featuring 130-150 year old reclaimed chestnut body and superb custom hardware appointments. It is available in SSS, HSS and HH configurations and in both the solid body "Loft" and thinline "Lounge" variations.

How Does It Play?

Paoletti’s Medium C profile is one of my favorites! It’s a comfortable carve that’s just the right amount of fat. I also really like the 6110 fretwire, as it’s nice and wide like a jumbo, but just a little shorter. The string action sits at a little over 4/64” on the low E string and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12^th fret.

The wiring configuration pairs the neck with the first tone knob, leaving the middle and bridge pickup to share the 2nd tone knob.
