Formerly known as the Stratospheric, the Alfa model is Paoletti's S-Style guitar featuring a 130-150 year old reclaimed chestnut body and superb custom hardware appointments. It is available in SSS, HSS and HH configurations and in both the solid body "Loft" and thinline "Lounge" variations.

How Does It Play?

Paoletti’s Medium C neck employs a 12” radius and gradual increase in thickness as you ascend towards the body. It is one of my favorite neck profiles in the shop! The Dunlop 6110 fretwire is a great choice for this guitar, allowing easy playability and perfect intonation. The string action sits at just a hair over 4/64” on the low E string and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12^th fret.

The neck and middle pickups are wired with their own individual tone pots, leaving the bridge humbucker not wired to any tone pot. We are happy to re-wire if that is not your preference!
