Formerly known as the Stratospheric, the Alfa model is Paoletti's S-Style guitar featuring 130-150 year old reclaimed chestnut body and superb custom hardware appointments. It is available in SSS, HSS and HH configurations and in both the solid body "Loft" and thinline "Lounge" variations.

How Does It Play?

The medium C neck carve is one of my absolute favorites. It’s meaty with a light C shape. Profile wise, it has a slow and steady increase in thickness as you ascend the neck. The Dunlop 6110 fretwire works well on this guitar, allowing easy playability without being too tall. The string action sits at just a hair over 4/64” on the low E string and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12^th fret.

The current wiring configuration pairs the neck pickup with the top tone knob and the bridge pickup with the bottom tone knob. The middle pickup is not connected to either, but we are happy to rewire to the configuration of your choosing!
