The Rock N Roll Relics Starfighter is a cool take on a double-cut set-neck guitar design. These are built much like vintage ‘G style’ guitars, down to the neck joint, wood selection, and distressed nitro finish. The top is painted in an Olive Drab green and even sports a matching stinger on the back of the headstock!
Specs include a mahogany body and neck, rosewood board, 24.75” scale length, ‘60s neck profile, 12” radius, 1-11/16” nut width, 22 Jescar medium .047″x.095 frets, Mojo Tone Filter Tron pickups, and a Tone Pros Nashville bridge. See the included spec sheet for all the particulars! It’s in excellent condition with factory distressing. This one has some serious mojo!
How Does It Play?
The frets are in excellent condition. The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action measures right at 4/64” on the low E string at the 12th fret and just under 4 at 4/64” on the high E. There is no fret buzz.
