What Do We Think?

Once again, Avi Shabat bringing you the best! This 1-piece Swamp Ash T-style weighs only 6.5lb! The Lollar Low Wind Imperial in the neck position is warm but articulate, and the J-Street in the bridge keeps up with no problems. This is the guitar you’ve always wanted if you’ve struggled with pickup balance in Tele Customs in the past.

The neck is master grade flame roasted maple and speaks for itself. Also 1-piece. The gold hardware is a masterful finishing touch as well.

How Does It Play?

String action measures just 4/64” on the low E string and even lower on the high E. There is no fretbuzz and all fret work is impeccable, from crowns to perfectly rounded fret ends. The neck profile is a ‘60s C, nicely hand-shaped and leaning on the slim side.
