The Lynx offers a lightweight alder or swamp ash body, hand-sanded and contoured to feel right at home. Set in the body is a rock-solid Gotoh Fulcrum Bridge with a steel block to provide fat tones with no tuning issues and a great-feeling tremolo response. Its fast-playing neck profile is still meaty enough to keep the guitar alive, and the Lynx offers a variety of pickup configurations, from SSS to HSS and HSH.

How Does It Play?

This Cosmic Blue Lynx just landed here in TN, and boy, does this thing play great! We have the string action set at just 4/64” at the 12^th fret across all strings with no buzz! The neck on these Shabat guitars is so comfortable. It is finished in an ultra-thin semi-gloss lacquer that’s almost matte, but with a glossy sheen. It feels like a neck you’ve played for years. The ‘Medium C’ neck shape is super playable with just the right amount of curve and shoulder. It measures .084” at the first fret and .095” at the 12^th fret. Frets are Jescar 55090 in stainless-steel, which will likely last you a lifetime of play!
