What Do We Think?

This T-style TimeFlite features a light-weight Alder thin-line body finished in a classy Surf Green. The Mastery Vibrato is silky smooth in feel and stays in tune quite well. Aside from killer playability and drop dead looks, the selling point on this tone monster is the variety of tones available at the flick of a switch! See below for specifics:

Position 1 - Bridge: Sweet and clear. This position will do your Tele twang but with a little extra “air” in its voice. Roll back the tone for big, open classic rock chords.

Position 2 – Bridge & Neck in Parallel: Your traditional “middle” position. The overlap of the pickups gives that filtered midrange with a touch of quack.

Position 3 - Neck: Tight and articulate low end, vocal quality to midrange and beautiful shimmer on top. This position brings out the best in your blues just as well as in your big interval-laden melodic parts.

Position 4 - Neck w/ roll-off cap: Thick wah-like vowel without losing definition. It really fattens up your cleans and delivers the “woman tone” on your dirt.

Position 5: Bridge & Neck in Series: Almost like switching your amp into rich, creamy overdrive. This is essentially an ultra-wide humbucker comprised of both pickups, delivering a bold punch and singing sustain.

How Does It Play?

This guitar features a medium C neck profile that is familiar and comfortable. We have the string action sitting at just over 4/64” on the low E string and right at 4/64” on the high E, measured at the 12^th fret. The Mastery Vibrato is smooth and returns to “zero” just right, ensuring the guitar stays in tune throughout frequent use of the vibrato.
