Starr Guitars isn’t exactly a new kid on the block. For years, Kip Elder has been doing high-end finish makeovers and killer vintage restorations. On the side, he’s been doing custom from-the-ground-up builds for a selective clientele. How Does It Play?

The string action sits at just over 4/64" on the low E and right at 4/64" at the high E, measured at the 12^th fret. The Soft ‘V’ profile is quite comfortable and softens as you ascend the neck. The neck is finished in a beautiful nitro gloss with light checking.
