This Benson Vinny Reverb Combo is in truly mint condition, serial # 0106230. Not only is it clean cosmetically, but all tubes, pots and jacks operate flawlessly as well. This is an impressively versatile amp. Can be made to sound warm or spanky. Clean or gritty. Even very Marshall-esque.

You might be surprised that you’d want power scaling on a 5W amp, but with all the tones this thing can cook up as you dial up the volume it does come in handy. It also plays a large part in controlling not just the volume but also the headroom of the amp. There are so many combinations to be had. And the reverb sits really nicely, even when dialing up the juice on the amp.

People have asked us for a few years now to make a Vinny Combo.  We listened, and then some.  We took the basic beloved Vinny circuit, and we added a tone control, Tall Bird style spring reverb, and power scaling which is uniquely driven by a tube, not a silicon MOSFET!  Perfect for rocking out without getting evicted.
