Like what you see? All photos are of the exact guitar you will receive. The guitar is in excellent condition overall with some very minor tarnishing of the gold hardware. The Mono gig-bag does have some wear, especially to the rubber accents. We’ve included photos so you can take a look!
This Custom Scott Walker Solace has arrived via trade. This is a unique single-cut ‘Jr’ style guitar with a ton of mojo. It’s a short scale instrument with so many custom appointments and accents. It’s as much an artistic statement as it is a guitar!
Construction-wise, Scott keeps things interesting with a tempered basswood body sandwiched in-between a formica top and back. Electronics are simple with a single Lollartron in the bridge. The tailpiece is custom with a ‘Tone Pros’ tune-o-matic style bridge. This is a beautiful piece, waiting for the right musician to give it its forever home!
How Does It Play?
The truss rod functions properly and the guitar sets up nicely. The string action sits at 5/64” on the low E string and 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12th fret. The neck feels like a nice D shape and on the thicker side. Scott is known for his neck carves, and this Solace proves that is the case!
