The Xotic XSC Series is for the player who wants a more vintage take on the Classic S-Style guitar, but with some modern improvements. Features include an SSS or HSS pickup configuration with a choice between hand-wound Raw Vintage RV-50, RV-60, and RV-PAF Pickups with vintage locking tuners, Jescar frets, and an aged lacquer finish. The Xotic XSC guitars are hand built by Xotic team and feature nitrocellulose finish, flame roasted maple neck treated with oil for the ultimate in playability and Raw Vintage hand wound pickups based on Xotic’s own proprietary design.

Body and guitar necks are premium grade tone woods for full lush lows and shimmering highs resulting organic, woody tones that work well with all styles of music.

How Does It Play?

The neck is a modern C profile, measuring about 0.84” at the first fret and 0.92” at the 12th. The frets are beautifully shaped, as are the fret ends. The string action measures a little above 4/64” at the 12th fret on the low E and right at 4/64” on the high E. The neck feels broken in and ultra smooth. Playability is off the charts!
